Jio Studios recently commemorated its 5-year anniversary with a grand event that featured some of the biggest superstars in attendance. The occasion also offered a sneak peek into the studio's plans for the future, with the unveiling of a showreel showcasing 100 upcoming shows and films in various Indian languages. The 3-minute and 50-second showreel offered viewers their first glimpse at some of the most highly anticipated films and shows yet to come.
The upcoming shows and films previewed during the Jio Studios 5-year anniversary event included several highly anticipated titles, such as Ali Abbas Zafar's action thriller Bloody Daddy starring Shahid Kapoor alongside Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, and Rajeev Khandelwal. Also showcased was the rom-com Zara Hatke Zara Bachke starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan, as well as Ghamasan featuring Arshad Warsi and Pratik Gandhi, and Dhoom Dhaam starring Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi. Additionally, the event gave a glimpse of R Madhavan's Hisaab Barabar and an untitled rom-com starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, among other exciting projects.

In addition to these, the event also featured a few announcements, one of which was the unveiling of Stree 2. The audience was entertained by a skit performed by Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi and Shraddha Kapoor. The film is scheduled to be released on August 31, 2024.
There is also Bhul Chuk Maaf starring Kartik Aaryan and Shraddha Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Section 84.
Jio Studios also announced a lineup of web series including Union: The Making of India featuring Kay Kay Menon and Ashutosh Rana, Randeep Hooda’s Inspector Avinash, Maniesh Paul’s Rafuchakkar, Jaaved Jaaferi and Divyanka Tripathi’s The Magic of Shiri, Doctors featuring Sharad Kelkar and Laal Batti, a political thriller directed by Prakash Jha and starring Nana Patekar.
